A number-first battler for ages 8+. Two players, a deck of ten, first to four captures. Every card carries three things: โ ATK (1โ5), โค HP (2โ10), and a +N โถ combat box โ it hits +N harder when the defender wears any listed element (either of its two badges counts).
Commit a deck of exactly 10 cards โ at most 2 copies of the same card.
Seven of your ten are dealt face-up โ both players see both sevens. Three stay hidden.
Secretly switch up to 3 of your shown 7 with your hidden 3. They know 7 of your 10 โ never your final line.
Arrange your final 7 face-down in flip order and place the pile on the table.
Flip top card vs top card. Element advantage adds +N โ. A card falls if the attacker's effective โ โฅ its โค โ checked both ways at once. A fallen card is captured; both fall = mutual KO, nobody scores.
First to 4 captures. (All-in, agreed up front: no early stop โ all 7 flips play out, most captures wins. Tie: sudden death from the bench.)
Friendly (the default): nothing changes hands โ play for bragging rights, forever, free. Keeps (both agree before the first flip): the winner takes the cards they captured. Your deck churns every match โ deck construction is the real skill. One rule sits above everything:
The server deals every vs-AI matchup and remembers your open match. Refresh after seeing the rival's cards? The same matchup comes back. An honest disconnect loses nothing; fishing for an easy rival gains nothing.
| Coming back later | A resume prompt greets you: an unfinished match continues where it stands; a finished one replays in full before you can queue again. One match at a time. |
|---|---|
| Waiting on a rival | Their remaining clock shows on your screen โ waiting always has a visible ceiling. |
| While you're away | Time never pauses. If your side was auto-arranged and lost a Keeps match, those captured cards did move โ and the full replay shows exactly how. Win them back. |
No player's call ever moves a card in that player's favor. vs the AI, rivals occasionally miscall by accident, in their own favor โ catch it and the truth stands; the only card a call can ever move is the one you lose by agreeing to a bad call. In PvP, calls are score-kept for accuracy only: cards always move by engine truth. Calling "I win" every flip wins nothing โ it just embarrasses your accuracy stat.
โ Re-rolling a matchup after seeing the rival's cards โ impossible, in PvP and vs AI.
โ Faking a rival deck or result at settle โ the server replays its own record.
โ NPC stand-in wins inflating the PvP leaderboard โ excluded and labeled.
โ Losing cards because you disconnected โ the match waits or the Keeper plays your side fairly; your collection re-syncs on any page load, and the full replay waits for you.
โ A capture settling twice โ every match settles exactly once, server-side, from the same deterministic engine you watched.
Rules change carefully and in the open. Every change bumps the version number in the header and moves the superseded wording here, dated โ old rules stay findable forever.
Initial public ruleset: the six-step game ยท Keeps opt-in before the match ยท dealt-is-final (server-pinned vs-AI matchups, no re-rolls) ยท PvP arrange clock 90s-from-first-sight with 10-minute never-opened cap ยท NPC Keeper offered at 90s, never forced, never counted on the PvP board ยท one PvP match at a time with resume ยท stand/fall calls judged by the engine, no forfeit rule.
